Earlier we explained the failure analysis before the operation of the plate and frame filter press. Now we explain the operation process. After the current preparations are done, and the sludge tank has at least about 1.5m3 of mud, the filter press can be turned on.

1. Check before opening

Confirm that the above conditions have been met.

Check whether the filter plate is aligned and the filter cloth is clean and tidy without wrinkles. If the filter cloth is not clean, the water permeability of the filter cloth will be affected, the time for pressing the mud will be prolonged, and the moisture content will be higher than the normal value. If the filter cloth is not neatly arranged or wrinkled, it will spray out from the gap after the mud inlet pressure increases.

2. Turn on pressing mud

1) Compress the filter plate

Turn on the hydraulic cylinder motor on the filter press, press the filter plate tightly, and keep the pressure at 20kfg/cm2.

2) Turn on pressure mud

Turn on the sludge pump to feed the sludge into the plate and frame filter press. After the mud enters the filter press, under the action of positive pressure, the water penetrates through the gaps of the filter cloth, flows into the filtrate pipe, enters the silo next to the filter press, and flows into the second regulating tank. With the increase of the amount of sludge, the filter holes gradually decrease and become smaller, and the filtration pressure increases. When the sludge pressure reaches 5kfg/cm2, the sludge moisture content is basically about 70%, and the filter cake is formed. Mud pump screw pump, when the pressure rises to 4kfg/cm2, because the pressure is too high, the amount of filtrate precipitation is small, open the pressure relief valve to prevent the screw pump from overpressure to prevent serious mechanical wear.

3. Unloading mud

After stopping the mud, the air compressor is turned on for about an hour and then closed, ready to unload the mud.

1) Open the frame and unload the mud

Start the release button on the hydraulic cylinder, release the plate, and retract to a certain position, then gently shovel the sludge down with a trowel, drop it down, and bag it after the trowel is done.

2) Reset and press mud.

When the sludge is bagged, start the compression action, and hold the pressure to 20kfg/cm2 after compaction. After tightening the pressure holding compass, click to stop the action and then click to close.

4. Clean the filter cloth

The principle of filter cloth is to rinse after each mud out, now it is set to once a day.

5. Replace the filter cloth

When there is glue on the filter cloth that cannot be removed by a high-pressure cleaner, or the filter cloth is damaged, the filter cloth should be replaced immediately.

1) Remove the old filter cloth

Take off the filter plate, untie the rope fixing the filter cloth, remove the filter cloth, and do solid waste treatment.

2) Replace with new filter cloth

Pass a piece of the new filter cloth through the center hole of the filter plate, rotate the filter cloth, and turn the end of the unreserved rope hole downward, and then pass the rope through the corresponding holes of the two pieces of filter cloth to fix the two pieces of filter cloth on the filter. On the board.

3) Place the filter plates and arrange them neatly

Put the filter plate with the replaced filter cloth on the filter press, and arrange them neatly and upright. After the replacement, the mud can be pressed normally.

Maintenance of plate and frame filter press

1. Make a record of the operation during use, record the operation of the equipment and the problems that have occurred, and repair the equipment in time.

2. Keep all matching parts clean, and add appropriate amount of lubricating oil to ensure its lubricating performance.

3. For the electronic control system, conduct insulation test and action reliability test, and repair or replace components that are not flexible or have poor dynamic accuracy.

4. Frequently check the sealing surface of the filter plate to ensure that it is smooth and clean, and check whether the filter cloth is folded to ensure that it is flat and intact.

5. The maintenance of the hydraulic system is mainly to check and maintain the liquid level of the oil tank and the sealing of each connection port of the hydraulic components, and to ensure the cleanliness of the hydraulic oil.

6. If the equipment is not used for a long time, the filter plate should be cleaned, and the filter cloth should be cleaned and dried.
